Out of Town Patients
Are You Coming from Out of Town? (DIRECTIONS TO OUR OFFICE)
For those of you who have come from outside of the immediate Philadelphia area, our staff will work with you to help make your visit as pleasant as possible.
Making an Appointment
If you are coming from outside of the immediate Philadelphia area and would like to know if you are a candidate for partial or total knee replacement surgery through a minimally invasive approach, or even if you would like to discuss your candidacy for a traditional approach or revision surgery, please send your x-rays and supporting documentation, such as records of previous treatments, orthopaedic surgical records and arthroscopic photographs (if you have had arthroscopic surgery) for Dr. Lonner to review. Provide us with your contact information so that we may call or e-mail you to discuss your case. Please call 215-829-2014 to speak with Patrick D'Arco, Physician Assistant (PA) or Beverly Thomas, RN or email thomasbe@pahosp.com to arrange a review of your medical history.
The radiographs which you send to us should include (1) standing, anteroposterior radiographs of both knees, (2) standing midflexion posteroanterior radiographs of both knees, (3) lateral radiograph and (4) sunrise radiograph of the involved knee.
To set up an appointment with Dr. Lonner, call Stephanie Vargas at 215-829-7242 or email Stephanie.Vargas@uphs.upenn.edu or Beverly Thomas, RN at 215-829-2014 or email thomasbe@pahosp.com.

For the initial visit, we will require a full set of radiographs. Additionally, if you've not had surgery and it's been more than six months since seeing Dr. Lonner, radiographs will also be necessary. For your six week postoperative visit after knee replacement surgery and for any yearly visits, radiographs will also be necessary.
